What's Your Take?

Anne Geddes is one of the world’s most iconic photographers, most often known for her work photographing young children and babies.

Her most recent work “My Pregnancy: A Woman’s Story,” is now available on iTunes as well.

Geddes recently told CNN in a feature a bit about the project and shared about how she has so few images from her childhood that years later and how she never could have imagined that her work would take that direction and be so well-received.

Geddes is the global advocate for the United Nations Foundation’s Shot@Life campaign and also supports the Every Woman Every Child initiative. As an influential figure, she is asking that moms take a moment to vaccinate their children.

Shot@Life is aiming to help save the lives of the 1.5 million children under the age of 5 who die every year from diseases that are preventable by vaccines.
