On Wednesday, New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand made an appearance on “The Daily Show again!” She was there to talk about the Democratic National Convention and women in politics.

It’s very rare that a guest on “The Daily Show” isn’t put at ease by host Jon Stewart’s conversational skills, but Gillibrand always seems more comfortable during TV appearances than her other constituents. She comes across as an actual human, and regardless of one’s agreement on her policies, she’s not a robot in a suit sprouting rhetoric. I also am really happy to hear more voices encouraging women to get politically involved and have their opinions heard.
