What's Your Take?

The latest rumor buzzing around the world of Apple is that the company is currently producing 1-2 million 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro laptops.

As reported, an analyst is claiming that production has begun on the 13in MacBook Pro with Retina Display. The new Retina MacBook is expected to launch in October.

According to the NPD DisplaySearch analyst Richard Shim, “the supply chain indications are that it’s for a MacBook Pro 13.3 and not a MacBook Air.”

The new 13inch MacBook Pro will have a 2,560×1,600-pixel Retina Display screen and according to Shim, he claims that despite the falling out between Apple and Samsung, the screens will be made by Samsung, as well as LGD and Sharp.

The analyst believes that Apple is ramping up production on the smaller laptop, producing 1-2 million of the 13.3in, with a few hundred thousand on the 15.4 Retina display model.

According to Apple, the Retina Display will boast a pixel density higher than the human eye can distinguish. Wow!

The launch of the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display is expected in October, as all with the new iPhone expected to launch in September.

What do you think about this recent rumor? Are you excited for new products from Apple? Are you due for a new computer or cell phone?
